The wedding is this weekend! I can't believe it but it is here and I am headed to the great state of Ohio on Thursday morning so if I MIA this week I apologize but I promise to make it up to you all with a copious amount of pictures of every detail. Just a quick fun detail to share, can't give too much away. Today I ordered 10 lbs of Pistachio Macaroons from Mike's Pastry in Boston to be delivered in Columbus this weekend. My sister decided against having a wedding cake and opted for a variety of special deserts so this is just one a few but I promise you they are delicious...and while Mike's is known for its cannolli I'd say these are my favorite thing from there.Image via The Open Road

Pistachio Macaroons from Mike's have got to be my all time FAVORITE thing EVER!! What a great idea to do those instead of a cake- I'm totally saving that idea for when its time to plan my wedding :)
